Meet the Doctor

Dr. Tamara R. Slusher, D.C.

Hello! My name is Dr. Tamara Slusher and I am a Doctor of Chiropractic.  I was only 8 years old when I decided to become a Chiropractor.  With the help of my mentor, Dr. Corey Rodnick, at a young age, I was assisting with spinal screenings, educating the public about posture, spinal hygiene and the benefits of Chiropractic for everyone.  I started my studies out at Life University in Marietta, Georgia in  September 1996, right after high school and graduated with my doctorate in June 2005 from Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  

My Chiropractic career began as an Associate operating the first satellite clinic for Rodnick Chiropractic in November 2005.  In December 2016, I purchased the clinic and changed the name from Rodnick Chiropractic Family Center to Mission Chiropractic Family Center.  There are many ways I have been involved with the public for Clare and the surrounding counties.  Just to name a few, I have appeared for many years on the monthly television series, "Ask the Chiropractor" and have been involved with the backpack Safety Awareness and Work Safe programs, as promoted by the Michigan Association of Chiropractors.  I have been voted Clare County's favorite Chiropractor five times. I am on a quest to spread health through chiropractic to the masses and educate parents on the importance of children being adjusted.  The majority of our new patients are referred to our office from either current or past patients.  I follow three strict mottos of "Giving, Loving and Serving", making "Your Health our Mission," and "Moving the bone and allowing God to do the Healing."  I am a mother of five active children.  I believe health comes from within and my mission is to heal the world...one spine at a time!
